As a contractor, I was able to take on larger responsibilities and work directly with the clients.
WHAT IS?
Custom made-for-show shoes done by Rochambeau and Aaron Curry.
We got about 150 pairs of Air Force 1's from Nike that they let us play with. We enlarged the swoosh and added dangling mini sculptures straight from Aaron's imagination.- Laurence Chandler
I worked with a small creative team for Rochambeau remotely to help produce early concepts and digital representations of the shoes. Due to collaborative nature of this project, I needed to move quickly to visually interpret napkin drawings and phone calls into thumbnails, presentable concepts, and CAD drawings. I worked primarily in Solidworks and prepared the files to send to the 3D printers. Having worked with the brand before, I was already familiar with their brand identity and their year long partnership with artist, Aaron Curry.
